MEASURABLE TECHNICAL
PARAMETERS OF PRINT
- Overlapping registration mark (longitudinal and transverse)
- Registration on the transmission in one-sided print
- Machine fitting (longitudinal and transverse)
- Moving / Mirroring
- Increase in tonal values
- Difference in point increments between aggregates
- Stability of tonal values in relation to printing units
- Variable optical density around the perimeter of the sheet

TECHNICAL
DIRECTIVE
The Technical Directive facilitates agreement between machine manufacturers and offset printing houses in technical talks and commercial negotiations. In addition, it provides a test concept for technical and measuring machine acceptance.
PRINTING HOUSE
AUDIT
The objectives of the audit
The purpose of the audit is to assess the printing house's ability to produce packaging in accordance with international and industrial guidelines and to assess the level of optimization of the entire cycle of printing reproduction at individual stages: production preparation - ink mixing room - printing department - postpress - quality control.
Audit report
The initial audit ends with a report on the basis of which we indicate the places on the process map that should be standardized and optimized in order to improve the efficiency and quality of printing production. The report includes an assessment of the existing production efficiency, the capabilities of the hardware and software available in the printing house, an assessment of the current SOP procedures and the knowledge and skills of the people operating the system. Based on the audit, you are able to develop a comprehensive cooperation offer tailored to the client's needs.
Audits are performed in accordance with the following standards:
- ISO 3664 lighting
- ASTM E1499 Observer
- ISO 13655 measuring tools
- ISO 15930 file format - series (PDF / X-4) 1.7
- PDF / X-6 (ISO 32000)
- Paper / Substrate ISO 15937
- Proofing ISO 12647-7/8, ISO 12646, ISO 14861

X-GAMUT
IMPLEMENTATIONS
X-GAMUT significantly improves the production process
This means that you do not have to deal with special recipes and the implementation of a paint mixing room. There is no need to wash the machine, changeover times are not necessary, and the production preparation time is reduced. As a result, the software helps lower overall costs - for both printers and customers.
EXTENDED COLOR GAMUT PRINTING (ECG) IMPLEMENTATIONS
BASED ON THE FOGRA 55 COLOR EXCHANGE SPACE PROFILE
- Replace spot color reproduction with ECG technology based on CMYKOGV printing
- Reduce machine setup time for spot colors
- Reduce production costs for spot colors
- Increase the number of production orders per shift
- Increase OEE for your machines while maintaining consistent reproduction for spot colors
Our implementations are based on CGS Oris solutions.
